St. John Lutheran Church, Au Gres, is seeking a part-time organist or pianist to provide music for Divine Service and other congregational worship services.
Responsibilities include:

Familiarity with Lutheran hymnody and liturgical music is preferred but not required.
St. John is offering $100.00 per service

Responsibilities include:
- Providing musical accompaniment for congregational hymns and liturgical singing.
- Playing prelude, postlude, and service music appropriate to the Lutheran liturgical tradition.
- Working with the pastor and other musicians to support the congregation's worship life.
- Assisting with special services throughout the Church Year as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience playing organ, piano, or both in a church setting.
- Ability and willingness to learn the particulars of the Lutheran liturgy and worship tradition.
- Ability to accompany congregational singing confidently and reverently.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting the worship life of the congregation.
- Willingness to respect and live in accordance with the congregation's confession of the Christian faith and standards for Christian conduct.
